Food Bank fund raiser at Oilers game
Noon to 7 pm Saturday March 30th
 
Volunteers (30-40) will sell tickets in the concourses of Rogers Place at designated locations. Sellers will be responsible for making themselves noticeable to the public in order to encourage customers to buy tickets. After ticket sales end, Sellers may be asked to assist in organizing the aprons and/or performing other duties in the Count Room. Volunteers should be prepared to stay and sell tickets until 15 minutes after the end of the game.
 
Along with our February 26th Ukrainian Cultural Village presentation we are requesting donations to the Ukrainian Furniture Warehouse for Ukrainian newcomers. Furniture items to 15330-114 Avenue on weekends as shown above.
 
Kitchen, bedding, towel items are to go to their other warehouse 10568-108 Street 
Wednesday 12:00-5:00 PM, Thursdays 1:00-7:00 PM, Saturdays 10:00-3:00 PM
Rotarians Rod Karius, Melinda Noyes, Jason Bossert, Markus Muhs, four family members and friends, plus eight MacEwan Rotaracters are embarking for Belize on February 16th for our club's 8th Belize playground building trip.  Check out belizeplayground.com

Anna Wieczorek is showing amazing community service helping those leaving and remaining in Ukraine with financial support by Rotary Club of Edmonton.  Anna connects to our club meetings through Zoom.

It is important to keep our members as safe as possible while enjoying the fellowship of in-person attendance at our meetings at the Chateau Lacombe on Mondays.  The meetings are hybrid and on line attendance will continue to be available.

Our club acknowledges we are on Amiskwacîwâskahikan Treaty 6 land. We are all Treaty People.  
We respectfully acknowledge the land upon which our club operates is located on Treaty 6 Territory and has served a purpose as a traditional meeting ground for many First Nations groups. This territory has provided a traveling route and home to the Nakoda Sioux, and later, Blackfoot and Cree peoples, followed by Saulteaux and Métis and other Indigenous peoples.
 
Edmonton is also in Metis Zone 4.

Our annual fundraiser / Scottish / Robert Burns / scotch and wine raffle now closed. Winning tickets were drawn Feb 5th.  Many thanks to all the donators and participants!
