Rennie Houle was born and raised in Whitefish Lake First Nation #128/ Goodfish Lake. He is a devoted advocate for his community and his determination and commitment go beyond his day-to-day duties as an Employment & Training Program Manager over the past 15 years.  As a persuasive campaigner for his community, he is endlessly connecting strong partnerships with Industry. His involvement has stimulated the growth of their First Nation owned businesses “Goodfish Lake Development Ltd.” which has grown substantially and recently awarded an Alberta Chamber of Commerce award and has brought long term meaningful employment opportunities in various sectors of Industry. He is a promoter, visionary, connector, risk taker, committed, determined Indigenous leader open to all forms of partnerships that will benefit to all involved.
