A morning with rehabilitation robotics - Breakfast and behind-the-scenes tour

Have you even wondered why roller coasters might provide the answer to kidney stone removal, or how virtual reality is helping the next generation of dental students improve patient care?

Please join us for a fun morning of fellowship and learning. Meet world-leading researchers who will discuss Rehabilitation Robotics, an inter-disciplinary research group focused on improving lives through robotics and technology. Research focuses on wheelchair biomechanics, new technologies to assess spinal structure and function, assistive robotics and virtual reality in rehabilitation medicine.

Location: Room 4-036 Edmonton Clinic Health Academy (ECHA) (located at 11405 87 Avenue on University of Alberta North Campus)

Rotary Cost: $10 per person (does not include parking or LRT fare) thanks to sponsorship from the University of Alberta

Please note: due to the nature of the event, attendance is capped at 20 participants. Please RSVP quickly to guarantee yourself a spot!

There is some public parking available on the university campus but ECHA is also easily accessibly by the LRT (Health Sciences Station).
