Jacqueline O’Neill is Canada’s first Ambassador for Women, Peace and Security, a position created by Canada in 2019. Originally from St.Albert, after receiving her Master in Public Policy from the Harvard  Kennedy School of Government, she  spent several years with The Institute fro Inclusive Security, a US based organization doing work in public policy with several organizations such as  NATO and the United Nations.  
 
What is “Women, Peace and Security”?  How is it relevant to Canada? How does it relate to our roles in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and beyond? Jacqueline will explain why Canada created the position and how she works to fulfill her mandate.
