Indigenous Language Revitalization Program

Pamela McCoy-Jones will speak about the "Supporting Indigenous Language Revitalization" program, a new community-driven project aimed to support revitalization of Indigenous languages for current and coming generations.

McCoy-Jones is an experienced policy advisor with over 15 years of policy and strategic planning experience specializing in Indigenous education in the provincial government. Working knowledge of government policy development processes and strategic planning within relevant legislations and regulations. Proven ability to establish positive working relationships with a broad variety of clients and demonstrated success in managing complex issues within short timelines.

Pamela is an administrator in the office of Provost & Vice-President Academic, Indigenous Programming and Research. University of Alberta
