2018 Millenium House BBQ

Our Club has supported the Rotary Millenium House since its inception in 2002 with a $600,000.00 contribution to the creation of housing for those in the inner city ready to make positive changes in their lives.   We maintain this legacy by hosting two annual celebrations, a summer BBQ and a Christmas Lunch.  This year's Summer BBQ was another successful event. Chair of Millenium House events,  Melinda Noyes, sent in the following summary of the day!

Rain warnings loomed but it turned out to be a beautiful day as a gaggle of volunteers gathered at Millennium House for the annual summer barbecue.  Most of the residents made it down and enjoyed the burgers and fixins, the music, and the fellowship both indoors and out.  It was nice to see such a mix of Rotary volunteers, from our brand new inbound student and some very new members to the seasoned professionals who knew the ropes.  The work of the Millennium House legacy continues to provide support to those who need it most and Rotary's involvement is very much appreciated!
