Lunch at the Aga Khan Gardens

Thanks to Lee Foote and the staff at UofA Botanic Garden for the tour of the Aga Khan Islamic garden on Sept 17th! Fortunately the sun came  out at the right time to warm one's soul.  Fall colors were splendid and helped after the recent snow.

I have added a picture of the special sails or tarps on the pillars of the Aga Khan garden.  They finally showed up from Poland and were installed the week of Sept 27th.

I am considering doing a tour of the Japanese Garden for "Luminaria" at the Bontanic Garden. This candle lit event runs evenings on Dec 7, 8, 9th. Thousands normally attend this wintery extravaganza. But I would like to know how much interest from our Rotary club there is.  Touch base with  me and I will add you to the list.

Yours in growing Rotary
