This is an update from the Rotaract Club of central Edmonton. The President is Paul Hillier and he  writes:

Delton School Programme:  Our partnership with DeltonSchool officially kicks off Monday April 28th, when our first group of 5 will be hanging out with the 15 grade 2-4 kids.  The guest speaker at our past few meetings have been from Delton School and Big Brothers Big Sisters running information sessions, background checks, and one-on-one interview.  With most of our club through those, we are looking to get our rotation going before the kids break for summer holidays.

ShowRunners Leadership Conference:  Our community directors, Laura and Byron have been working around the clock securing the telus building on campus, food, speakers, working with the charities for the May 1st date, and we're all working to drop off the forms and waivers to the schools.  105 students from 8 schools, going to 7 different charities--Edmonton Foodbank, Salvation Army, Youth Emergency Shelter, Catholic Social Services, Good Samaritan Southgate, the Marian Centre, and the Boyle MacCaulay Centre.

District Conference: The Rotaract club is hosting the Friday Lunch at the District Conference, the 23rd.  Our 30 minute section of the programme will be about our club and about Rotaract in general.  We're still going through our ranks as to who is going to be able to go--the $150 Rotaract price was a nice first step of District's to making it possible.

Those are the main things, just thought a quick update before we go into 2 weeks of exams at the University and at MacEwan.
