On Thursday December 11, 2008, Rotarian Brent Abbott presented a cheque to Colleen Novotine of the Boyle McAuley Health Centre. In receiving the cheque Colleen went on to tell us about the use of funds. In one case it will help buy shoes for a client who has size 15 shoes. These are hard to find and it is important the the client be prepared for the current winter conditions. In other cases the funds will be used to purchase necessities that the clients cannot afford.

The Rotary Club of Edmonton has a long history and relationship with the Boyle McAuley Health Centre. Located in the heart of the Boyle Street area,  it serves inner city residents through a variety of programs such as Street Works which is a needle exchange.
