The Rotary Club of Edmonton Luncheon held on December 13 was a special occasion, where Rotarians, their partners and special guests enjoyed the seasonal fellowship.

Santa Made his way into the party to provide Christmas goodies to some select Rotarians, and to wish us all a Merry Christmas, But I digress. President Scott presented former Club member and Chair of the Christmas Bureau Daryl P. Wilson a cheque in the amount of $10,110.00. The was the result of the Rotary Club matching contributions of individual members. Daryl indicated that Rotary has been a long standing and significant contributor to the Christmas Bureau. It is the Bureau's hope that they will be able to provide Christmas dinner and support to upwards of 60,000 people this year.

Among the many guests were Past President Bryant Richards (1977-78) who joined recent Paul Harirs Fellowship reciepient Harley Deeks and his lovely wife Barb.

A wonderful choir , the Madregal Singers from the University of Alberta enthralled all in attendance with their renditions of Christmas classics. Not shown is the Rotary Choir, which san  (thankfully) with the help of those in attendance the 12 Days of Christmas. Special thanks to Robert Lang for conducting and  Don Milne for somehow managing to accompany the choir.
