Quite apart from the original large donation the Edmonton Rotary Clubs made to the construction to the palisades and bastions, these clubs have continued to contribute through the Historical Foundation to the development of the Park. The Rotary Club of South Edmonton transported the round Henderson Barn to the Park, and sponsored the reconstruction of the Henderson farm house. These buildings form a conspicuous and interesting part of the area known as 1885 Street. In addition in 1986 The Rotary Club of South Edmonton began to stage a threshing bee at the park during threshing season This venture required an investment of about $20,000 for the threshing machines. The demonstration each fall of the kind of harvesting operation that has practically disappeared and yet formed an important feature of our farming life in the past has been very popular. The threshing bee has since evolved into the Harvest Fair Weekend of the present.

In connection with the building of 1885 Street, one of the conspicuous structures is Jasper House Hotel. Both the Rotary Club of Edmonton West and the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast contributed towards it. The Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield has a covered wagon built and the Rotary Club of Edmonton Northeast a wagon i which the handicapped can ride around the park

In the early 90's six Rotary Clubs in the Edmonton area combined to form a joint venture. The purpose was to provide a railway station for the park. The station is like those in the west in the early days of railroading and it will serve as an entrance to the parkas well as to the railway. The Rotary Clubs committed $64,000 to the cost of the station.
