Rotary members Host Belize Teachers

Our Rotary District 5370 is sponsoring a major program in which Rotarians and their partners will impact the education system in Belize in a major way. The Alberta Department of Education is one of those partners. One aspect of the project is to send Alberta teachers to Belize during the summer months to "teach the teacher". A second aspect is to bring a number of Belize teachers to Edmonton for specialized training.

Past President Muriel Dunnigan was the club liaison for the return visit and asked a number of our members to act as host families. Included was Roger Laing, Dawn Fargey, Gary Keen and Harry Buddle. Muriel and Frank also hosted a dinner party for all involved. This is the evidence.
