Rotary Program August 23, 2010
The program on Monday, August 23 will feature two speakers, Dr. Glenn Hundleby and Sol Rohlinger. The topic is the history of the formation of Wellspring Centres throughout Canada as a post cancer support centre and the development of the Edmonton clinic following the cutbacks at the Cross Cancer Institute when most if not all of the post support treatment was discontinued. The current status is that Wellspring Edmonton has been incorporated as a Part 9 Company and the major launch for the development and building of the new clinic site took place on April 27, 2010 and we hope to have a major announcement very shortly as to its location and dates for completion. Dr. Hundleby is the Chair of the Board and Sol Rohlinger is a Board Member active in securing the site and public, private and government support.
