Annual Scottish / Robert Burns luncheon

Join us in this annual Scottish themed event.  Wearing Scottish garb optional but wearing anything tartan would be helpful.

This fundraising event supports projects and programs in the downtown community.  This year we are supporting Zebra Child and Youth Advocacy Centre.

This meeting will feature a return of our Scottish / Robert Burns celebration.   Robert Burns. the worldwide Scottish poet's birthday is  January 25, 1759.  His birthday is celebrated at many BURNS dinners around the world.

We will be hosting a Scotch and Wine raffle as part of the meeting with proceeds going
to Edmonton's Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre   They serve children and youth who have experienced abuse, supporting them through the investigative, justice and healing process with a continuum of multi-disciplinary resources.   Zebra was selected by our Community Services Committee as our recipient of funds raised.  Click here for info on Zebra

Our luncheon will feature Scottish cuisine such as Haggis, Neeps, Taters.  Alternatives will be available.
Scott Montgomery has arranged for a special Scottish speaker and even a piper to add to the atmosphere.
