The program speaker is Tom Heinderks, Executive Director  Alberta Aviation Museum. Tom was born in the late '50's in Winnipeg , Manitoba.  Tom is passionate about flying, having taken his first flight when he was three Weeks old. His youth was spent flying  across Western and Northern Canada. Tom graduated from F. H. Collins High School in Whitehorse, Yukon, received his glider licence through an air cadet scholarship at Rivers Manitoba, and private pilot's licence through an air cadet scholarship in Edmonton. His first aircraft was a 1946 Cessna 120. Tom's presentation will focus on The Alberta Aviation Museum, The Spirit of Edmonton Project and our future in Aviation.
